Grow Your Professional Toolkit...
Each year, Leadership East Bay (LEB) provides professional development training and meaningful connections for professionals from diverse sectors and helps them become better informed, engaged citizens.
LEB builds organizational capacity and enhances cross-sector collaboration and alliances through its annual, in-depth, professional development training program for managers and leaders at various stages of their careers. We bring together participants from businesses, city governments, nonprofits, and regional agencies who learn together and take their newly acquired skills and connections back to the workplace bringing increased effectiveness for their organizations and meaningful connections that enrich our communities.
Program participation has been expanded from Berkeley to encompass several adjoining communities. LEB is open to all individuals who live or work in Albany, Berkeley, El Cerrito, Emeryville, Kensington, and Richmond, those who work for regional agencies or operate businesses that serve clients in these communities, or share regional interests.
The program was launched in 2004 in conjunction with the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce and is one of many community leadership programs throughout the country, each independently run. In 2018, LEB became a separate entity from the Berkeley Chamber, and has become a program of Social Good Fund, its fiscal sponsor, which supports hundreds of small and large nonprofits.
