Leadership East Bay (LEB) convenes emerging and experienced managers and leaders from diverse sectors to strenthen their professional skills, expand their networks, become better informed, engaged citizens, and discover how best to give back to the community.

LEB is open to all individuals who live or work in Albany, Berkeley, El Cerrito, Emeryville, and Kensington, who serve clients in these communities, or share regional interests.  The program was launched in 2004 in conjunction with the Berkeley Chamber of Commerce and is one of many community leadership programs throughout the country, each independently run.  In 2016, LEB became a separate entity from the Berkeley Chamber, which remains our fiscal sponsor.

Our Mission

Leadership East Bay builds organizational capacity and enhances cross-sector collaboration and alliances through an annual professional development training program for managers and leaders at various stages of experience.  We bring together participants from city governments, nonprofits, and businesses who learn together and take their newly acquired skills and connections back to the workplace with the goal of increased effectivess for their organizations and meaningful connections that enrich our communities.

and becoming more intentional about my strengths & weaknesses.
